Should NZ ban Plastic straws?

This week we created a DLO about the plastic straws which is Should we ban them or shouldn't we ban them. I even don't know what to say. It's so disgusting, when people don't care about our planet, animals. Over the past week, I started to take this very seriously. I don't understand people what kind of joke is this, it's too mean. Now it is necessary to start doing something, and I am very proud of my family, because we are actively doing this.

Tech

Today we came to Tamaki College. Last week, Mrs. Ferguson made for us wooden crafts, with round and square holes. I chose round holes , and my friend Ellenora chose square. These are two different parts, that is, one part is a thin board with holes, and the second is the same, but without holes. After that, we stick them using glue, we need to paint it. I chose classic white color. We need to choose, which game we want. So I chose the game "Tic Tac Toe". After, I used "Tinkercad", to choose pieces. It was very interesting and fun!

Kiwi Can

Every Wednesday,we have Kiwi Can. We had our theme called Resilience and our topic is about Self Control. I think that self control is very important thing, because some people can be angry and  something like happened that can make us feels emotion. Also it can be hard,to someone control yourself. We were learning about the what stops us focusing on our task and i learnt that there were many things that can stop us from focusing on our task like social media, chatting with friends and distracted by others.We (I,Victoria,Sela,Ellenora and Eyaka) made a task.One person must be in the middle ,and other people should:singing, tell a story, dancing. 

Aesop's Fables

This week has called "Book Week". We had few tasks, and it's one of them.First, we needed to read "Aesop's Fables". Second, choose any fable on the site, I chose the fable "The Lion and the Mouse".Third, create this fable, but with pictures and with your words.Moral of this story, is "Don't be mean and angry, be friendly and nice. I was enjoying doing this task, because it was very interesting and funny.

Phonics 'ANK'

Yesterday, my brother went outside, to play with snow. He jumped to the snowbank, and his ankle was hurt. My mum, gave him "Hot Chocolate" to make him happier. He drank it very fast. Also we went to the"Toy Store" and my Dad bought him toy "Tank".

Today for "Phonics" we learned the  'Ank' sound. We chose five words from the list we made together and wrote our paragraph. We also solved some riddles with 'Ank' in them and made a word ladder.

To finish we listened to a short story and answered questions about the story.

Inquiry

Subject:Inquiry. It's called "Paper Catapult".To do this "Catapult" we used: sellotape, scissors, newspaper and plastic container.And the most important thing is the plan.Because without plan,you can't to do this.We made a plan,and our "Catapult" was very good. Leader of my group was Mele. Also in this group were: Eyaka, Avalon, Marieta and Mele.

Maths

Subject:Maths.It's my "Tiny House".I haven't any partner,I made it alone.I made this "Tiny House" about 30-40 minutes.I used:glue,paper,type,pencils and scissors.I thought,that it's easy to make this house,but actually,it was a little bit hard.

Phonics

My brother made cheescake. I ate it. It’s fake cheescake! There is a snake in this fake cake! He is very cheeky brother and baker! His name is Jake. I will give him fake stake!.He gave me pancakes and milkshake for breakfast.They were very delicious and tasty. He is a good baker and a good brother.

Today for Phonics, we were making our list of words with ake in them. We listed words we already knew, then we used our dictionaries to find new 'ake' words. We read a short story and looked for all the 'ake' words, we found 8. Then we wrote a paragraph using 5 of the 'ake' words from our list.

Recount: My Weekend

I went to Sylvia Park with my mother on Saturday. It was very funny and cool. My mother bought clothes for me.We went to Sylvia Park by bus.I have an ATHop card now. I really like Sylvia Park because it’s a very beautiful and fantastic place.There aren’t any places in Almaty like it. My mum and me had very delicious lunch from KFC. My favourite food is fast food, so I like KFC and something like this very much. On Sunday, we(my mum and me) went to Pack N Save. We bought milk, snacks for school, bread, cheese and fruit. My favourite fruit are oranges and mandarins, and I like juice from oranges. I took my $5 and I bought ice cream.
